Saturday morning Ray, Maddy and I woke up early and started getting ready for our mini road trip. Papa came over with Maddy's usual Saturday morning munchkin order and to do a quick check of the garden. As soon as Maddy's belly was full we packed in the car to pick out our new... puppy! We had to drive a little over an hour to the breeder, but it was well worth it! We take him home in a few weeks, Maddy is psyched.
During our "road-trip" Maddy started shouting. Loudly.
She is usually a pretty quiet little girl, so we let her shout and tried to listen to what she was saying. Then we heard... 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! pause, pause 8! 9! 10! 10! As my heart strings were bursting with pride we shouted along with her and counted to 10!
