Why Maddy does not usually want to leave Papa's house...

Mimi had to put Sammy to sleep a few weeks ago. We have had Sammy for a long time, I will miss his curmudgeon ways. :) We told Maddy that he went to go be with his mommy in heaven. She asked.... "Are there toys?" Yes, sweetheart I think there are lots of toys.

We also have a new edition (well, Mimi technically has a new edition)...

Maddy loves the new puppy, Gracie. 

They were being especially quiet today while I was cleaning the kitchen. I strolled by Maddy's room to check out what was happening...

She had her curled up under covers and was reading her a story. Malty is usually too busy beeboping from room to room for a story, I think Maddy likes the attention Gracie gives Dr Suess.
