As I was watching the election coverage last night I looked over at Maddy and vividly remembered holding her in my arms, four years ago. This tiny, little perfect one-week-old version of Madelyn Eileen. Now, four years later.... she is a little girl. She has brought such joy to my life in her four years. I think back to November of 2008 and how I had no idea what amazing life she would bring to me.
