We had a really nice weekend and as the slacker that I am do not have pictures... right now. We went to Newport, RI on Saturday for a beautiful Fall stroll alongside the mansions. Right before we left we stopped into a Pub to have lunch. While the food was pretty gross (greasy and bland) we were surprised to be seated alongside the court for the Tennis Regionals Tournament, which happened to be next to the National Tennis Hall of Fame Museum. Imagine going into an inconspicuous pub for a quick lunch and being seated amongst that! Very cool. It cost $0.75 extra a person in order to "maintain the grounds," but well worth it. -Minus the food.
Sunday Grampi and Nana came over for a cook-out and sprinkler system maintenance soiree. Madelyn got to show off her claps and hot dog eating skills. We love when Grampi and Nana come over with food.... and then cook it!
